very good points.

Could even do a sub-forum titled "Gold Coast" [under North Jersey] specifically for cities such as Edgewater/Weehawken/Hobo/JC on the Hudson. That would take some traffic and clutter off the No. NJ page itself.

so what exactly is the gripe here? i don't hear anything that's so troublesome to where it requires 2 forums. if anything, the *problem* is too many non-NJ related posts (which can be fixed quite easily )

This is the correct answer. If you want me to, I'll create a push-pin map of our regular posters, by location, to prove it. You'll see most home locations of people who post here are north of the Driscoll Bridge.

I think that's a pretty good idea. The two different halves are very different (almost like two completely different states), and as the thread-starter stated, most of us don't know much about the other half of the state. I grew up here in North Jersey and no virtually nothing about South Jersey. I don't even consider it part of New Jersey.

More ppl live in NJ than in MD, yet MD has two forums.

And I think more people live in the 7 Southern NJ counties than Baltimore City, Baltimroe County and Harford County which is Baltimore real's regional influence, and not DC-MD or outskirt-MD.

LMAO, but I do it anyway. South Jersey is part of the greater Philly region.

North Jersey-anything above the Raritan (Driscoll) Bridge
Central Jersey-Anything below it to Beachwood
South Jersey- Lacey and below.

I grew up in Toms River and now live in North Jersey and absolutely hate how people up here call Toms River South Jersey. It is Central Jersey dammit!!

I don't see anything wrong with the current order with one forum? There is no official north or south, I'll feel bad for people who live somewhere inbetween. I literally live in both Burlington and Newark every week. Let's have a forum for "culture/corruption/controversy" and a forum for "strictly real estate/relocation"
