I saw a nice house in Lindenwold for like 135K which is why I asked. It really is a nice looking house, esp for the price, but I don't want my daughter in a bad school area.
I don't know about the school district but Lindenwold is not a dangerous town. I can't help but to think people get bad impressions when they see black kids playing outside in a particular town with loud music. And based on your budget I think Lindenwold is well worth it if can afford it. I get a sense noone on this board really knows this area. The county park is there and it borders Berlins, Clementon, Voorhees, Laurel Springs which are respectable family neighborhoods. But Lindenwold is a completely different area geography wise. I don't know where u work but I would test my commute as it can be a task driving from mount laurel into the middle of camden county.

I don't think living in Lindenwold would be that bad, but I still don't think the schools are that great. If schools are one of your biggest concerns, you might want to try your hardest to get into Voorhees, they have some of the best schools in South Jersey.

Lindenwold is not a dump but it is a very mixed area. Schools are below average. I would not consider purchasing a home there unless I knew there was OK and I'd be there 10+ years.

Run far away from Lindenwold! I just bought a house in the town next to it and all the gunshots come from Lidenwold. So sad! Even though some areas look nice--it takes a hugh beating due to crime and rental properties. Sorry to discourage you. I am sincerly thinking about selling my house and I do not even live in Lindewold--I live right next to it. Just when you think owning property is the American Dream and it becomes a nightmare! Go figure!
