Some would rather not bother then. But if it makes you happy, by all means, enjoy.

thats not really a point. we are comparing independents to chains and now you are cutting out all independents and chains that arent 5 star restaurants.
sometimes i feel like a $12.99 steak and sometimes i feel like a $60 steak.

My point was, and then I'm done with this topic, that some people would never order a $12.99 steak. This has nothing to do with being an elitist, it's just about quality. I understand that $ is tight for a lot of folks anymore, but I personally, would rather cook at home than go out and drop $50 of food and drinks at TGIF or some equivalent. DH and I could cook a hell of a meal at home for $50 and we would be closer to the beer sated garage fridge.

i understand that but it doesnt really relate to the discussion. i enjoy eating out regularly so i dont always go to top notch places. the quality is still fine and they are better cooks than i am.

haha its funny the details you know about me. i dont remember when i said i eat honey nut cheerios but i guess i did. ill correct your mistakes so next time you get it all right. i like cheap/chain food, expensive chain food, cheap independent food, expensive independent food. i like to eat in restaurants of all kind. i grew up in a house where money was no object and my mom didnt cook. i ate restaurant food every day (and twice a day on weekends). i dont eat mashed potatoes, just dont like them. i rarely ever listen to talk radio anymore. i dont eat while watching tv, the honey nut cheerios is my breakfast.
im not really a loner type of person. i would like to live in an area with lots of open space and lots of guns. however, i also like to have access to areas where i can walk around lots of upper/uppermiddle class people. i go to thompson park in lincroft a good amount with my dog on the weekends. i feel like that area would be nice to live.

Ok, so you eat mashed potatoes for breakfast and honey nut cheerios for dinner and don't watch tv or listen to radio (again, see loner type) your mom couldn't/wouldn't cook so the staff at the local waffle house became your surrogate family. ok, gotcha.
