Default Anyone watch the NJ Housewives premiere lastnight?

It came on 11pm. What did u think of the opening of the show? I didn't see a fruit but they showed the lovely welcome to NJ Turnpike sign, the one with Governor Corzine's name on it. The darkhaired Teresa is filthy rich (or her husband), she was buying a 80,000 furniture set and 1,000 dollar dining room chairs. Jacqueline's daughter claims she was never taught how to make up her bed. Danielle only falls for playboys who only wants phonesex and then complains about being single, she was engaged 20 times. Caroline is probably the wisest woman but her son seems childish. Dina is the best looking one, I haven't figured out yet what Danielle says is corrupt about her.

It has gotten rave reviews in the media. I will catch it on a rerun--11pm is way too late for me!

I like it, only because I miss my home state. It brings back memories. Plus my sister lives in FL. I went to a wedding at The Brownstone in 2007. It is a beautiful place to get married. Those owners do work very hard, lots of hours.

I bet it did get raving reviews, especially from real nj housewives who work their butt off to live in an old average house. Atleast this show destroys all misconceptions that we're the armpit of America.

Ha, I use to drive by that place on my way to college. I'd see lights and nice cars and thought it was kinda funny, I thought that was in Haledon not Paterson, it must be funny when guests drive to an event there if they have to drive through Paterson.

I did watch it however I sat there thinking this is not the way it is, but then again I grew up in Monmouth County and do feel northern NJ is so different. Did anyone feel that they had more NY accents rather then Jersey ones?

margothault is on a distinguished road
It was definitely entertaining... and fun to see all the familiar North Jersey filming locations (mostly where the housewives are from in Franklin Lakes, Wayne & Montville.)

I can not watch this season because it is just horrible how they act. The others were bad but it seems like this one is trying to be the worst!

Yea like Caroline encouraging her son to open a carwash/strip club or Danielle giving a 26 year old a b.j. everyday on his lunch break.
