They have opened quite a few of the Java Moons recently. I love their food, but I wish you could BYOB there. they don't allow any alcohol.

I think there are a few others that are pretty good near there: one is Spigola's (across from the Hamilton Marketplace), Leonardo's (IN the Marketplace), and...ooh waht is the name...it is on the corner of Rt 130 near the Dunkin Donuts, next to a salon.....close to Shrimp King...argh! Can't think of it! But I love their food!!!! OH!! Could it be Villa Barone?? Maybe that is it....

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, and it might be way far from some people here, but this little cafe opened in Woodcliff Lake a number of years ago. It is called the Blue Moon Cafe. It's on Kinderkamack, easy to find. I LOVED that place. Just...cool food, lovely little inside, done southwestern but trendy/southwestern (don't know how to explain it any better than that!). On a nice day, you can eat outside. The service was excellent. The prices were certainly reasonable, I don't know, $15 plates? $18 plates? (And of course lower a la carte items.)

The style of food is sort of southwestern with modern touches. Just...yummy. Okay, now I'm hungry!

Java Moon also has a place on Rt 9 in Manalapan. The Jackson one I believe was their first. I ate at both locations. There is also one in Shrewsbury where I used to go dress shopping .
I believe they may have other locations.

Alfonsos' in Somerville..loud, great Italian, casual, just fun, nothing fancy. The one in Flemington..not so good and no booze license

White House House Sub Shop In Atlantic City..fab sandwiches, long waits and worth every minute. Better than the casino crap.

The Bernard's Inn my fave special occasion place, hands down. Sit by the piano near the bar for special requests and lovely ambiance.
