Hi Trans- I'm your neighbor. !! and therefore you get 2 reps from me
Yes. It's Villa Barone. We switch between Spigola's & Villa Barone every date night (monthly) Barone is BYOB and Spigola is a bit more pricy but both are well worth the money.
*One night in Villa Barone we thought we walked onto the set of the Soprano's !!
*One night at Spigola's (yes it was Valentine's Day) we had 7:30 pm reservations and we did not get seated until 8:30pm. The place was extremely crowded & the bar was packed.

That Callahan's that was next to Hiram's is no more - it was torn down and now a bank is there. Hiram's is still alive and well.

My mom's side of the family came from Trenton and some still live there. My work brings me in once and a while and I try to support the city's restaurants when I can. I always liked the Revere but haven't been in a while. I believe they are under new management since the last time I was there. It's probably like any longtime Trenton staple though, old fashioned and good. There are a lot more great places in Trenton but I didn't want to seem biased:
Rossi's Tavern
Amici Milano
Trentini's
Tir Na Nog (Actually just a pub, but it's the most authentic Irish Republican bar you'll find outside of Free Derry)
Joe's Mill Hill Saloon
The 449 Room and Greenlight Cafe (Vegetarian)
Kat Man Du (Go for the food-skip the club)
Papa's Tomato Pies (I'm a De Lorenzo's die hard, but I'll give them a plug)
Merlino's (Now Diamond's on the Waterfront-really in Ewing though)
