Origin Thai Restaurant in Somerville. Great Thai with a French flair. Lunch is excellent and very affordable.

Just the sound of that reminds me of Ekko in West Orange (though, theirs is Japanese/French influence).

I know Steve's enjoys a reputation, however, when I was last there 5 years ago, their steaks tasted like they were dragged across the floor of a Mexican jail. I think I exceeded the Surgeon General's recommended weekly sodium intake quotient. If you are cynical, you'd have to conclude management would like to see you tack on about 5 beers to the bill. In my case, they succeeded.

I could see the steaks tasting very well there if they would lay off the salt.

I disagree and so do the couple of hundred people who pack the place night after night. Although the last time I ordered the extra steak sauce I woke up in the middle of the night screaming for ice water . Now I just keep it simple and stay away from extra sauce. For the money I think its the best steak place in NJ.
