BTW...Park & Orchard the MOST overrated place in NJ IMO.
I found a little place, Sal Anthony's, on Hackensack Ave in Carlstadt...small but GOOD.

I'm afraid of it. LOL Seriously - it looks so runned down. He put this awning out and painted 13 - Tredici on it... looked SO tacky. Really turned me off.
That said, I heard the owner used to own AlDiLa in Montclair and years ago I LOVED that place... so who knows?
I find it odd that te former "Sonoma Grill" (formerly Coys or Caughey's Seafood years ago) is still vacant. I mean, not in the economy NOW, but for years it's been vacant. Seems like a good location.

It's been getting rave reviews. I haven't been there since they changed over from Peter's Whale, but they do look good. Expensive though.

I used to live right there....the best Chinese ever! Land and Sea went out and became Good Times. Heard that closed too. The food was good there. There is another Land & Sea diner by the tracks over on is it Fair Lawn Ave.?

I know right??!! Hunan is great and everytime I fly back home to jersey it's the first place I go! Yeah it became Good times, i was just there recently and now it's called Metro something, wasn't as good unfortunatley
