And in the second spot, we have the Summit Diner! If you have never done so, go over there early in the morning and get yourself a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich. But beware...after that, your day will be all downhill...

I know someone who goes to the diner whenever he is up from FL. Can't get the taylor ham there!!!!

Thai Chef is our fave rest. of all time....we are moving to CT. and will miss it terribly.....the one in Montclair is the best....cheap, delicious, and you MUST order the chocolate souffle...they are famous for it and it is no wonder why!

Trap Rock in Berkeley Heights. The food is always excellent and innovative. Plus, the beers are great.

I used to run NJ a lot when I was a long haul trucker. NEVER had a bad meal at a local place! One of my favorites was the Skyway Diner (under the Pulkaski Skyway in South Kearny). Never walked outta there hungry! This was about 5 years ago, so I hope it's still there. (I run in OH, IN and KY now and sure miss NJ!!!)
