Archers was my grandmothers favorite place!!!! I remember it well! Harbor house was not as good. My Grandparents lived on Briar Way in Fort Lee that was across from the DQ, so they went to Archers all the time!
I grew up on Briar Way in Fort Lee .. 1093 Briar Way. Who are you grandparents?
We are Manolio.....
And yes, I would to go to Archers all the time...

Reason: add
The White House sub shop in Atlantic City. There is no substitute. In fact, I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet.
Others: Tarantella in Medford. Mastoris Diner in Bordentown. Portofino in Morristown. Iberia in the Ironbound Section of Newark. River Palm Terrace in Edgewater. Picallili Tavern for wings in Shamong. Gaettanos in various southern NJ locations for cheesesteaks. Long Valley Brew pub is yet another good one.
However, the White House Sub Shop may be the single greatest delicacy in the entire US.
BEST OF SOUTH JERSEY says best wings are at the Jug Handle Inn on Rt 73 just about a 1/2 mile south of Route 130........I'm 61 and they are the best I've ever had......especially the "honey" wings !!!!!
Houstons for ribs! In Riverside Square Mall. Also a good Italian Restaurant across from Shakers by Paterson Plank Rd. on 17 S. in Carlstadt, forget the name of it.
The Lobster House in Cape May, just over the bridge from the Garden State Parkway (Exit Zero!!). You MUST go to their market out front.....the boats dock about 100 feet away, talk about fresh!!!!! And they have a web site, you can get your food overnight packed perfectly. I send it to friends in Florida for Christmas!
Not the cooked food at the restaurant, though. I went there with my family ans we were so disappointed- no flavor. No comparison to the portuguese restaurants in Newark.
