What are your favorite NJ restaurants?
No national chains allowed, just local joints. Make this a nice, positive Jersey thread for all the things some may think we have bad, no one can deny we have great food!
Some of my picks:
-Sushi Lounge, Morristown
-Charley's Other Brother (steakhouse), Eastampton/Mt. Holly border
-The Underground Cafe (Bulgarian), Princeton
-Penang (Malaysian & Thai), Princeton/West Windsor border
-Frankie and Johnnie's (steakhouse), Hoboken
-Arthurs Tavern (steakhouse), Hoboken
-Chapala (mexican), Hamilton

I'd like to put in a plug for Milton & Henry's in Morris Plains. It's gone now, but the memories live on!!!
And in the second spot, we have the Summit Diner! If you have never done so, go over there early in the morning and get yourself a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich. But beware...after that, your day will be all downhill...

Hands down, Libretti's in Orange. Understated elegance. Terrific food. Gorgeous owner. Many good evenings spent there. The bread is to die for ... too many good veal and seafood choices to select a fave. Doesn't look like much from the outside but be prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

My favorite restaurant
If you like Greek food, then Cherry Hill, NJ is the place to go! It is on Route 70W, near WaWa. The food is delicious and reasonably priced!
