Zachary's in Long Branch also makes a pretty mean burger. And pretty good wings. And a good thin crust pizza. Really, there's no reason to go anywhere else if you ask me!

No, I think Cutter's has been gone for quite some time now. I used to go there as well. They were really, really good, in their prime. It's a shame to see old time eateries such as Cutter's disappear.

I agree with most of the suggestions above...
White Manna in Hackensack is my favorite
Five Guys - I hear good things but haven't tried it yet...
For a chain restaurant, I really enjoy Red Robin... also Fat Burger for fast food/chain is also a good burger.
If you want to travel, head to the west coast - IN-N-OUT BURGER!

I live 2 blocks from White Manna. It's very popular and I will eat them once of twice a year. The place is super small, always packed with a line out the door and takes a long time to get your food.
Down the road is Cubbys BBQ. I like it a bit better but not techinically a burger place. They have the best sweet patato fries.

i'll have to try white-manna... that's an interesting name... roots from the Old Testament?

The In-N-Out 100 x 100 special:
A bargain at 90 bucks (less than a dollar a patty!)

I actually was just in Vegas/Cali last weekend and I was sure to get me In-N-Out... I get it everytime I go west, it's a MUST.

In Morris County:
Bogey's - more info »
960 State Route 10, Whippany, NJ - (973) 887-7324
Huge burgers in a tiny place; you almost drive past it on Rt 10. Worth the trip, but it gets crowded.
