Is Medieval Times "too much" for a 3 and a 5 year old? (Meaning can they handle it)

If you're talking about the Medieval Times show in Lyndhurst, I think it is way too much for both a 3 and 5 year old. Having been to the show I think it's excellent, but I don't recall seeing any children that young there.

The show is rather loud, with a storyline that I don't think children that young would be able to fully grasp. Also they serve chicken that you need to pick off the bone to eat. Don't get me wrong it's an excellent night out for a family, just not one with kids that young.

If your kid enjoys knights and horses, yeah. My kid was 3 when we took him. He loved it.

For a three year old Yes is too much for them the 5 year old I think it would be good for but its pretty pricey to take if your not 100% sure that they would get the full enjoyment of the show and food!

If your kids are fussy, I wouldn't do it. The menu has a fixed selection...no kid's menu. Plus, everyone has to eat with their hands.

I just took a bunch of kids there aged 3 through 5. They all had a fantastic time - nothing scared them and they change it up enough for them to keep interested. Food sucks but they give kids (only the kids) plastic knives and forks so they don't have to eat with their hands. Look at the menu -I found the veggie option better for the kids...humus and chips. Keep your eye out for buy 1 get 1 free tickets...
