I don't dislike white people. I just dislike whites who act and think like you do (i.e. racists).

1. you are a black that is a racist. so you should hate yourself.
2. white people congregate together just like any other race. you are no different. however, you feel like the white world owes you something and now you have the privelage of vilifying the white people for acting normally.

We live in Clark, and love it. Great school systems, taxes are so-so like the rest of NJ

Historically speaking, we all know the answer to both of your questions.
But that wasn't my point and this is 2009 and NJ is a state filled with minorities from pretty much every country under the sun. If you are a realtor and refuse to deal with minorities, you've got to be a pretty dumb realtor (and broke to boot).

To get back on Op's subject
You can also look into Colonia , certain sections of Rahway, Scotch plains Fanwood
you do have a lot of options and if i were you i would take a day trip to each area
Then decide which area too look in, Good luck with your search

I'll say it again
The old section of Fords right down New Brunswick Ave. in Woodbridge township. Walking access to most needs and withing spitting distance of all major roads and top destinations. Moving inland to the bowels of Woodbridge twp or any other town will be a huge negative on several fronts.
South Brunswick to Edison commute is self flaggelation! don't do that!

A lot also has to do with topography. The southern and central parts of NJ have more flat topography while as you go north of say US-22 you quickly hit mountains and higher elevations which to me make life much more exciting and scenic. I would say this carries on all the way to the NW corner of the State where locals call the rest of NJ literally "down below", as in "I'm going down below, be back later", and it really is like a roller coaster ride in some spots.
Also the density of Central NJ towns mentioned is a bit higher while the population thins out towards the North West.
About 20 years ago I looked in S Brunswick and noticed the taxes BACK THEN where lower but them is "flatlands" to me, lol. Although there is a nice hilly part called Bunker Hill near the scenic D&R canal.
