Question Question about Maywood, NJ

I am moving into Maywood, NJ soon and have a grandchild with Down Syndrone. He will be 3 in september and have to go to a special ed school, can anyone give me info on this. Also what cable service is used in Maywood. Thanks for all responses.

Is your grandchild in a regular school and special ed classes OR in a special school? What grade is your child in?

Hello there,

No he is not in school yet but will have to in September when he is 3. The programs he currently in will end and so he has to go to pre-school with special ed classes.

Since he is turning 3, he will be transitioning from Early Intervention into your local school system. Contact your local (Maywood) school district's child study team. They are the ones who will be handling the transition. Also, his Early Intervention case manager should be involved in this process.
