Default East Amwell NJ likes and dislikes

Thinking very strongly of relocating to East Amwell. I love the area but want some inside info! I have elementary school aged children and want to know if there is anyone with info on the schools. I know that the High School is Hunterdon Central which is huge so that concerns me a bit...was hoping for a bit smaller so I am weighing the options at this point. Any information would be great. I am currently from Middlesex County.

I have looked at this area (but have not moved for other reasons). I checked out the schools and was impressed. The H.S. for East Amwell, as well as I think every other Hunterdon H.S., is regionalized. The Central Hunterdon HS receives pretty good marks.

Hopefully some one with some real experience will reply.

Good luck.

That's quite a nice part of NJ and you have Lambertville, New Hope and Flemington nearby. I looked there years ago when my job relo'd me to Princeton. At that time the taxes seemed a wee bit high but then the rest of NJ caught up to that.
