Well P'ton is close to the Delaware River and those legendary river towns like New Hope PA are usually good for a once in a while music and beer romp. There are lots of rural to suburban residential areas in that part of NJ and in Bucks County PA.

I'm looking at google map. Is NJ or central NJ considered the center of New England? There are so many big and culture rich cities reachable within 4 hours of driving. Much more exciting than the corner of S.Florida. (Think about 8 hours driving still can't get me out of Florida) Can't wait start packing and loading the truck.

NJ isn't considered New England...it's Mid Atlantic.

Boston from Princeton, assuming light traffic, is about 4.5 hrs I'd say. DC is about 3, Baltimore a little over 2, Pittsburgh about 6. There should be a lot of weekend trips in your future!

I too find this to be true and, for me, it is nonproductive and a real turn off.

Can someone tell me what's the difference between a "township" and a "borough". They confuse me.

My understanding of it here (I think it is different in other States and Countries), is that a Township is a subdivision of a County and a Borough is an incorporated section of that Township.
In Princeton, the Township and the Borough share a school district and some municipal services but have separate governing bodies. The Borough and the Township each have their own Mayors and Council and their own police departments. Same is true for East Windsor and Hightstown Borough.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Me all thinks that they are just separate entities. For instance you have Chatham and Chatham Twsp, and Rockaway Borough vs Rockaway Twsp where they have there own separate gov'ts, cops, services, adm buildings, libraries in some cases, fire dept's, etc. Some share things like high schools for instance.
