Default Ridgewood vs Glen Rock High School

Please help us to find the right high school for our son.
We are looking at these two schools: Ridgewood and Glen Rock High School, but not sure which one will be better for a new student to be acsepted. He is not much into sports but very interested in music.
Any sugestions for other places around? We must be in Bergen county because of work.
Thank you so much!

Both schools are very similar in terms of academics, after schools programs, etc. The only major difference is size - Ridgewood HS is twice the size of Glen Rock. RHS is huge (I think it has almost 1,700 students) which is a big turn off for many parents. Both school districts are very much into sports, although RHS (and I am sure Glen Rock does too) has a wonderful music program. RHS has a great band. As far as being accepted, it's tough being a new student in HS, no matter what town. I suggest visit both schools and see which would fit your son better.

Both are excellent schools. Ridgewood has a very good music program.

Thanks a lot, I would be happy to hear suggestions for other schools in the area. We are originally from Europe. Is it more international environment in RHS ?

So is half of this country, lol I wouldn't call those towns "international". I would guess that most kids in RHS were born here but there is enough cultural diversity for you not to feel isolated.
