Last night was really bad. The lightening and thunder was SO loud in Jersey City. My whole house was shaking...it sounded like the thunder was DIRECTLY above the roof. And the streaks of lightening. I went to my window and saw these amazing streaks of lightening streaking over the skyline of NYC/JC. It was so cool. The rain outside my window sounded like I was standing next to Niagara Falls.

Oooh.. That definitely sounds like fun. Great way to save on water.

My car absorbed the soaking for me. Free car wash. But the thunder kept waking me up in periodic times all the way up to this morning.

Wow! It was ffffffabulous last night and this morning! I like storms like that. It was so weird to wake to a bit of sun and then suddenly the sky goes black! I don't think we've had a storm like that in awhile.
