New Brunswick has some excellent Mexican food! The best is El Oaxaqueno on Drift St and Joyce Kilmer Ave. A close second is La Noa Noa on French St. The best Puerto Rican food in the state is at the La Poncena restaurant on Joyce Kilmer Ave.

Yes!. Great, great call. There is some history to this place. The owner of this place, in the 1940s, actually told his son to stop playing minor league baseball during the war, and come back to help, since other family members had been called to service. Because of the connection to the major league baseball, many major league baseball players, including Joe DiMaggio, were frequent customers to Rossi's.

There are a couple of other Mexican places in New Brunswick worth checking out if you really love authentic Mexican food:
* Cinco de Mayo on French St. near Louis St.
* El Poblano on New St. near the corner of French St. (excellent tacos &
chiles rellenos & other typical dishes from the Puebla region of Mexico)
when its nice out they have cool outdoor tables.
