i've never flown out of or into philly, so my comments are 2nd hand. my sister in law lives in princeton and, all things being equal, prefers philly. smaller, not as crowded. however, if cheaper airfares or direct flights are to be found out of newark, she has no problem flying out of there. you really have the best of both worlds.

parking at ewr is outrageous, IMHO. to park *at* ewr, but offsite will cost $15/day (you need to take a shuttle bus to the terminal, but they run frequently). offsite, independent is at least $12/day. parking at ewr, closer to terminal taking the monorail is close to $20/day (i think).

atlantic city is hilarious - tiny airport, only a few flights a day (you can get to a few places in florida non stop) - otherwise i think most flights go to ewr, nyc, philly - maybe a few other places. allentown is bigger, but my understanding is you pay much, much more. my friend who lives there usually flies out of philly b/c the premium is too high.
