Just to be clear, the OP asked for "buyer's agent", i.e. an exclusive buyer's agent that only works with buyers, not sellers. Brian David Realtors is a dual agent (i.e. represents sellers and buyers).

I thought dual agency meant that the same agent represented the buyer and seller in the same transaction.
My understanding is that a "buyers agent" can represent sellers in other transactions. An "exclusive buyers agent" never represents sellers, but the OP didn't specifically ask for this.

Yes, you're correct. Although it's actually slightly more broad than that. Dual agency is when the agent (or his firm) is representing both seller and buyer. The "or his firm" part is important, since it means even if the selling agent and buying agent are different people, but both belong to, e.g., Coldwell Banker, then it is considered a dual agency transaction.
When I hear "buyer's agent" I typically assume "exclusive buyer's agent", because otherwise I expect people to just use the term "realtor", indicating they may not know the difference. Probably an incorrect assumption on my part.
Anyway, above all else go with whoever you feel comfortable with, trust, and you think will work hard for you. But if you're concerned with possible conflict of interest inherent in a realty company which works with both sellers and buyers (I was), then try seeking out an exclusive buyer's agent first.
I have a guy we used and he was such a pleasure to work with - very knowledgeable, very laid back - absolutely no pressure. PM me for his name if you'd like.
