Default Kinnelon NYC Bus Parking

I was just wondering if there is anyone here who takes the Express bus on Rt 23 into NYC.

I know it stops by Kinnelon Rd, but where do you park to catch the bus?

Thanks

You should park in the green-lined spots behind the shopping center and sports club, next to the movie theater building. These spots are specifically designated for commuters.

It stops right in front of the drug store on the highway.

Any parking permit required? Or just make sure to use a green spot?

Do they fill up?

No permit required.
Yes, they sometimes fill up.
Scout it out before you'll need it.

How long is the commute on this bus from Kinnelon to NYC? Is there a train option close by?

Another option is to drive to the Wayne Park & Ride and take either train or bus from there. The 10 mile drive down Route 23 can take anywhere from 15 to 35 minutes depending on traffic. (There are some little known back roads too.)

Does anybody drive from Kinnelon to NYC daily? We'd leave at 7am and come back at 7pm. I suppose we'd hit traffic driving in but maybe miss it coming home?
