Hi, my husband and I have been looking to purchase a home in Edison, NJ. We found one in Washington Park that is in good condition, but some of the homes around it don't look as well kept. We also found a home in the haven homes section of Edison that is in decent condition and, while the neighborhood looks decent, that section of 27 that it is located off of does not look great either. Does anyone know about these neighborhoods and which one is safer and better to raise a family. Are we right to choose one of these houses or keep looking? I am so paranoid, but know that we need to make an offer soon or these houses will sell fairly quickly I believe. Thank you in advance for your advice.
