Default Ocean county home heating oil price's

We are about to move to lacey township and now we will have oil heat. Since we always had gas for heating is there a web page to look at who list the price's for oil . Figure we better start looking now and Figure out how this works since gas you get a monthly bill with no chance of competition compared to oil.
Also locking in to oil price's is it worth getting if we find a good source. This will be our first time so would like to learn all we can.

Hi Tomscrpt, my daughter had oil heat. She would shop around for pricing especially to fill up before winter. You can set up a service where they come and just fill up once a month and leave you a bill or play the shopping market by checking your own tank and ordering so much. We had propane for many years before we had natural gas, their were only two suppliers in the area and we were committed to just one because they supplied the original tank. We thought we owned it but come to find out years later it was leased, bummer. We had to pay for excavation and removal.
was quite expensive I thought compared to oil.
Do your homework, call up local companies to get pricing, it used to be very competitive, really could not say now.
Just felt bad you had no replys. Good Luck!

You can find a list of all the dealers near you. Some have pricing information. http://www.newjerseyheatingoil.org/

Good Luck!
