Jackson
Looking at real estate in Jackson. The Brookwood section to be specific. I believe there are four Brookwood sections. Any information on Jackson would be great.

OK then
Here's what I know about Jackson.
Disclaimer : IMO...
Easy access to 195 & NJTP.
Some older areas- semi rural in areas. Trees galore. Not many sidewalks.
Well water & septic.
Many new developments with nicer/large homes.
You will have great shopping at the Jackson Premium Outlets (check out their website) and you'll be near the Six Flags Great Adventure Theme Park.
BTW: People from Jersey call it "Great Adventure" never Six Flags.
I hope I helped. ?

Jackson was once like most a nice quiet town, now it's overpopulated, and overbuilt. property taxes are sky high. the simplicity of the town that once was, is gone. all of Staten Island lives here or most of it anyway.

Wait. Maybe some parts of Jackson have well water and septic, but Brookwood isn't one of them. It has town water and sewers. Alll the Brookwood houses are small and over forty years old. But they are essentially sound, with hard wood floors and plenty of trees. And they are arraged in little enclave type neighborhoods, with winding streets that discourage speeders. They all offer easy access to Route 9 (to NYC and Toms River), and to Interstate 195, which leads into the Parkway and the Turnpike. Brookwoods I and II are also within walking distance of the elementary school.
