If you want class and quaint and romantic, go Cape May.
If you have kids and want more flash and boardwalk, go wildwood.

Wildwood Crest would be plenty close enough but more away from the main Wildwood boardwalk and the drive to Cape May from there is only 5 min. Last summer we biked from our motel room in Wildwood to Cape May after 11pm and it was really great. Like most people who go to the Wildwoods we always make it over to Cape May and walk around and get something to eat so for us it's not either/or but both

Yes, you could easily do both, even in one day. They are very close to each other.

I had someone from Jersey ask me "why do you want to move to Jersey? It's like a roach motel, you check in and can't check out" haha...thought that was funny. What ya do for those ya love...my bf is from there. I am a Delawarean
