Huh. Never heard that he was sick... Of course he'd use all of his influence to keep that out of the press. It's kind of startling when a "celebrity" dies, especially when they're not very old.

He's been sick for many years. Have you taken a look at him recently? Well I mean back in 2005 during his 2nd trial.
Guilty or not of child molestation he was one strange and at the same time fascinating dude.

Flame away at me, but good riddance - I am glad he's gone. This man's music was great (more specifically his older stuff) but his actions were disgusting and downright criminal. I mean really, who admits to sharing their bed with little boys? If that was Joe Average, he's be tarred, feathered, and made an example of. MJ, nary a peep from most anyone.
The good thing about the passing of this walking freak show is that maybe now his kids might have a shot at some sort of normalcy, but the media will make a special point to make sure that does not happen.
RIP to his music, good riddance to the man.

I know that many people (incl me) had probs with MJ but NOW.... I choose to reflect on his music. I was young (it was the 80s ) and that era is deeply missed . When someone as iconic as MJ is gone (Farrah too), wow....makes ya think how life is so short.
I am not perfect so I choose not to throw stones. I hope that MJ and Farrah are at peace, wherever they are.
Off my soapbox now.

I can understand this POV. However, despite this, I'm very sad over his death, which surprises me. I guess because of my age, anyone who was in HS during the "Thriller" years, you feel a sense of mortality. We all knew his ending wasn't going to be pretty, and deep down we all saw this coming. It's still shocking though.
I just remember doing the "Thriller" dance in my living room for hours upon hours with my friends. White girl dancing...not a good sight! LOL
It's just another nail in the coffin of my youth, I suppose. Sucks.

I suspect it won't be long before the conspiracy theorists start chirping that MJ's death was "suspicious"...
as for Farrah, R.I.P. -- often imitated, never duplicated. we will miss you <3

i've already had thoughts he faked the whole thing to get out of the public eye and out from under his enormous pile of debt....
