I am not perfect so I choose not to throw stones. I hope that MJ and Farrah are at peace, wherever they are.
Off my soapbox now.

Was he perfect not by a long shot - I'm not posting to debate on the terrible things that he MIGHT have done... I was not there.... BUT i was there for the endless songs that bring back so many memories. He was a legend and forever will be... I wish him and his family have piece...

They can play all MJ songs they want today..It still wont erase the destruction he caused to all those little kids. Please..another celebrity who thought they were above the law.

child molestation really offends me so i guess i have a harder time caring about mj. i know nothing about farrah fawcett but i did feel a sense of sadness when i heard she died. cancer deaths usually get to me a little bit. i guess people liked his music so much that they overlook the horrible things he may have done (maybe they believe he was innocent).

Can I just ask what the F was up with his naming his "sons" Prince Michael and Prince Michael II? Between those and the plastic surgery, neverland, the sleeping with children, and the child molestation stuff, he was one of the most mentally screwed up people in existence.
He did make some good music up through the bad album though.

Poor MJ.
there will never be someone like him.
His last decade was a rough one, it's a shame.

What I meant to say was that its not common to lose three celebrities, especially people as iconic as MJ and Farrah, on the same week, yet alone the same day. It is an unusual coincidence.

By Left Eye, I think you mean Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, one of the female singers from the R&B group TLC.

You just got to love some of the hatred some people possess. Dispicable.
Michael Jackson was a legend. This man wasn't just an musician, but one of the most important cultural figures in the 20th Century. I'm only in my early 20s, so it is hard for me to imagine a day, in which black entertainers didn't get any type of airplay on MTV.
Jackson not only shattered MTV's policy, but ushered a whole new era of Pop music. Without Jackson, R&B and Pop wouldn't of be in the mainstream as it is now. Jackson's "Thriller" album sold over 25 million copies in the US alone, and 100 million world wide. I highly doubt if any artist will be able to sell that many albums, with the way the music industry is set up.
Jackson has had his run of trouble. The trials will put a stain on his image. I see Jackson as not only a great artist, but a tragic figure.
