To summarize, Michael Jackson is dead. And Keith Richards is still alive.
Think back to 1978 and the "Some Girls" tour. (fresh off the Toronto heroin bust) And picture both of these men at that time. If you took bets on who'd be dead first, there wouldn't be one bet placed on MJ.
There's such balance in nature.

I felt the same until someone at another forum said that her family may be getting some peace because MJ died. More people are interested in him.
=============================================
Those of us born in the 60's, we were more into the Jackson 5 with cute little Micheal singing & dancing. I was into different music by the time Thriller came out - he was just too weird for me back then. I liked Janet though & bought her music.
I will always remember growing up with the Jackson 5 cartoon; but the MJ I "knew" as a child was gone years ago.
As far as his kids, his ex still can get legal custody of the 2 older ones. I'd hate to see them split up. It's possible one of them will write a book when they get older; so the world will be hearing more later.

Yes we do, don't we? lol
Her biggest complaint when she was diagnosed was her lack of privacy due to paparazzi. Her last trip to Germany, they were everywhere.. she came home in a wheelchair, we were told via the celebrity rags that she was dying.
Those of us with loved ones diagnosed know that treatment wears you out.
So what she was in a wheelchair?
I was pretty upset yesterday, I was on TMZ, there were 4 pages of MJ and one small blurb about Farrah passing. We're about the same age (40's), who doesn't remember the hair? While she wasn't a great actress back then, she was an icon, her hair alone did that.
The paparazzi have been camped out at the hospital since she went back in. The last footage I saw was Ryan leaving the hospital after she passed; telling everyone she's gone. I honestly feel the paparazzi would have been camped out at Farrah, Ryans & Alana's houses & who knows where else trying to get that one money shot. There's a death shot of MJ on TMZ, as well as him in a body bag being transported; so far nothing on Farrah, thankfully.
I'm thankful she's getting some peace.
I could not imagine being her loved one & having to deal with her death, her's appeared to be slow (unlike my dad) and having the press in my face.
Unfortunately, MJ's family will bear the brunt of this.

Michael Jackson trumped the death wars because he was young (as was she) but it was unexpected. Unexpected is always huge news. He was a bigger star to, no question. I mean, the "kids" in our family didn't know Farrah, we had to point out the poster and some got it from That 70's Show, but that's it. They all knew Michael. He's probably one of the most known people worldwide. It's not a contest. And I think the paparazzi are just DISGUSTING. I never even look at TMZ site because I think they are so repulsive and disrespectful.
As for Farrah, I really applaud her for her brave struggle at the end and for allowing people in to see such a private part of her life.
But the fact is, none of these folks are Mother Teresa (who was totally upstaged by Princess Dianas death, I might add....) and we need to keep it in perspective.
