this isnt me, its just a character i play on the internet.
please, what phrase for them would you prefer i use? i really dont care. how about "PWT"? my uncle used that and he is a big bleeding heart liberal so it must be more politically correct than what i use. i dont want to offend your delicate sensibilities so ill use whatever you prefer.
people want to know what type of crowd they will encounter in a place they are going. im not the only person who breaks down people into categories and each category can provide a different atmosphere that may be positive or negative for people. im helping people by giving the commentary that i guess others think is too politically incorrect to give. i feel very heroic right now.

If that makes you feel better, than run with it.
I just want to know who "they" are "lesser" than?
Just to keep things in perspective........................... No matter who you think you are CaptinNJ; A good portion of people will always see you as "Bridge & Tunnel trash". Regardless of your income or standing in society. You hide behind that "anti political correctness" BS, but will most certainly cry foul when your Monmouth Co self gets scoffed at by the "Manhattan elite".
Do you see what I'm saying????????

Ventnor, just to the south of Atlantic City, is very pretty and very neat, with a beautiful beach. It is mostly very nice homes. Most of the families and kids are down further, in Margate and Longport. Ventnor is very peaceful and quiet, despite being next to Atlantic City. You can go to AC to take advantage of whatever you like there - buffets, shows, whatever else. Or you can never go to AC. Similar to Ventnor is the part of AC it borders, which is the Chelsea neighborhood. But that is definitely part of AC. I'd say go with Ventnor. That's where I'd take my mom if she just wanted to relax in a beautiful shore town.
Another one is Ocean Grove but that's further up north, and that does get a lot of families; but it's a pretty quiet, calm town, probably due to the religious influence of the Methodists who formed the town. Yeah, Ocean Grove is worthwhile, even with the families, because it's not a noisy family scene, a la Ocean City.
Ventnor or Ocean City are my recommendations.

Ocean Grove is great. When you go to OG you can't believe you are still in NJ. It is just this quiet little town, (only one way in and out) that has a lot of religious back ground. They have the Great Auditorium there which has so cool concerts, there is a little main street with restaraunts and shops too. I would completely recommend taking a trip here.

makes me feel better? it makes me feel nothing. its just a label for them. im sure they are wonderful people but they are more blue collar and less attractive people. nothing wrong with that, but if that isnt your crowd then you may not be comfortable there.
im sure plenty of people think they are better than me. i couldnt care less. you will never see me "cry foul" because someone looks down on me. ill disagree because im awesome (men want to be me and women want to be with me) but they are free to not like me because im not a trendy manhattan person or a liberal elitist.

I understand why Cape May would be difficult for you; but what about other parts of Cape May County? Perhaps Town Bank, Del Haven, or Wildwood Crest (it's a dry town, and therefore quieter than other parts of Wildwood). On the west side of CMC, there are some lovely rental properties overlooking the bay. I hope you find what you are looking for!

I drive through Ventnor once a month and it always looks kinda seedy to me. A lot of ghetto-looking folks milling about on the main street and, let's just say, some young mothers who look less-than-here-legally pushing baby carriages about. Then again, maybe that's just the section close to the A.C. city limits.
Margate - next town over - always looks awesome to me though. One place in NJ that could possibly keep me from moving south.

Are you sure it's Ventnor and not Chelsea, which is part of AC? Even so, Chelsea is the wealthy section of AC.
What does "less-than-here-legally" look like?

Please don't let that stop you. If you consider Margate instead of the south, just remember that Margate still has lots of marxists and commie liberals who want to take your wealth and hand it over to the lazy people so lazy people can have mansions and ferraris while you languish in squalor. Margate is full of wealthy Philadelphian liberal elitists, and they have all sorts of laws and ordinances that are anti-Constitution and will take your freedoms away.
The south is so much better for you, it is the promised land -- low, low taxes (almost none, compared to NJ); almost no "less-than-here-legally" people; no traffic problems; no crime; no commie nanny state laws against guns, fireworks, so-called "pollution" and "global warming"; plenty of jobs and cheap housing; lots of patriots, etc.
I realize you're probably being held here in NJ against your will, probably by marxists like Corzine and his jackbooted thugs who won't let you out, but you shouldn't give up hope - keep trying to make that move happen. It shouldn't be too hard because the South is so awesome, no doubt they have plenty of job options for you there, all at very good salaries. For you, the South is the way to go!
