For Sale By Owner Websites
Are there any good websites to browse to look at homes that are For Sale By Owner?

You would think the FSBO price should be a little more reasonable. Well, a lot of these FSBO people are just too greedy to pay the realtor commission. I've seen a few FSBO houses and the asking price is rediculous.

(From a buyers point of view)
And there is a listing on there (the one you linked) that has a house in my area for sale. Problem is that has been listed with a realtor for MONTHS and has dropped dramatically in price. Still not selling. Go figure.

ForSaleByOwner.com is the only somewhat good one that I know of but I tend to find that it is not updated that often. What I mean by this is that you will contact the person and then come to find out the home was sold or taken off the market. I still see homes on their website that have been there for years! I think they need to monitor the listings more.

I find that the for sale by owner listings are people who don't want to listen to their realtor as to what their homes are truly worth - the homes seem overpriced for their areas.

Nobody should EVER listen to a realtor to determine what their home is truly worth. That's like asking a used car salesman what your trade-in is truly worth.

I agree with you. I find that very few For Sale By Owner listings are very realistic or even want to sell their home as they just want to test the market.
