Sorry it's your last day of work today.

You get unemployment insurance benefits for every day that you are unemployed.
So, you'll get paid UI for tomorrow, July 1, and every day afterwards that you are unemployed.
You are supposed to claim UI once a week, every week, and that claim is for the immediate prior week.

So, today, June 30, you made your application for UI. It will take them a week to process & verify your info.

Next Wednesday, July 8, you will go online to claim UI credit for the week of July 1 - July 7.
The next week, July 15, you will go online to claim UI credit for the week of July 8 - July 14.
The next week, July 22, you will go online to claim UI credit for the week of July 15 - July 22.

Does that make sense?
Did you set it up for direct deposit? You probably won't see the first deposit for 2 or 3 weeks. For example, I applied for UI on May 4...I didn't see my 1st payout for that 1st unemployed week of May 4 - May 10 until May 21.
