That location use to be Chi-Chi's. I think I liked it better as Chi-Chis, but I think Boca Di Beppo (however it's spelt) is still a good place to eat. The decorations are over the top.

As for non-chain restaurants, one of my favorites in Cherry Hill is Taan Kitchen - a great little Thai retaurant - on Route 38 right near the intersection with Church Road. Great little place and the people who run it are sweethearts.
I also like Norma's - a Mediterranean restaurant (heavily Middle Eastern). Some nights they have belly dancers.
It's true, mostly what we have in Cherry Hill are chains but some of them are actually good (in my opinion, anyway). I really enjoy Brio, Bahama Breeze and Maggiano's Little Italy.
Shanny, thanks for the compliment on our house. We love it (and Cherry Hill), but are looking to relocate to PA once we sell. We both work in PA and the property taxes are lower. We're probably going to downsize a bit too.

Cherry Hill is a great town. Probably won't find too much exotic food (Ethopian, Albanian, etc) but there's a lot of great cuisine nonetheless! Cheesesteaks, hoagies, wings, good Italian, and there are a handful of authentic Mexican joints. It's also a very quality town, good property resale rates, people actually take care of it (unlike a lot of Jersey cities), middle/upper class, people actually speak well, and one of the few places in New Jersey where it seems like everybody's friendly

I suppose its to support the school system, public library and some of the other frills stuff? Regarding libraries, CH residents have access to both the CH Library and Camden CC library. CH also has weekly recycling.
As far as exotic food, one has to go into Philly.

lol. There's no cliff in Cherry Hill, or a White Castle joint to begin with! And from New Brunswick, Cherry Hill is 1 hour 15 mins away (in movie they said 45 mins).
But it was nice the town was referenced either way.
