Default Bonfires in jersey?!

are bonfires legal in new jersey or not? and which beach has bonfire pitts?
and where would i be able to find information regarding this? thank you so much

I don't know of any beaches which allow fires. I probably just read that on the signs which are posted at the beach approach. You would probably find the information on the town, townships website - unless it's a county or state park, then look there.

Looking around the internet...some people say Island Beach SP allows fires.

I've been to a bonfire at wildwood, but it was an event .... maybe check their website, they may have something going on over the holiday weekend.

NJ won't even let you burn leaves, nevermind start a bondfire on the beach!
