Default President Barack Obama will headline July 16 rally for Gov. Jon Corzine

President Barack Obama will headline July 16 rally in N.J. for Gov. Jon Corzine - NJ.com

Corzine is just not a good governor. Obama does not need to be meddling around in NJ's election.

Hopefully the ObamaManiacs can use their brains and think outside of party lines for once.

I agree. I think it's surprising that Obama would touch Corzine with a ten-foot pole at this point. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out...

If you know anything about the Chicago/Cook County IL political machine then you'll know Obama will be right at home in NJ, politcally speaking.

they wouldnt and ultimately they shouldnt. dems want more big government, corruption is what they want. why wouldnt they support corzine and obama? they have a right to vote for what they want just as we have a right to vote how we want. then ultimately we have duty to overthrow oppressive governments. its a circle, we will get there.

the president is obviously more concerned with meddling in elections than doing anything he's promised to do in Washington.

he is doing exactly what his real supporters want him to do. those other people who he tricked into voting for him who think he is trying to help our economy and whatnot are just people he needed to win but isnt really philosophically aligned with.

I agree that Corzine is not a good governor, but Christie would be even worse, ESPECIALLY for Rutgers.

I think the status of Rutgers is pretty much last on everyone's list of priorities. The first thing on the list should be lowering the extreme tax burden on the middle class and business owners so the people who actually PAY taxes don't leave the state.
