I am about to go crazy from living with my dad in this lousy suburb of Minneapolis...
I don't have a job, I'm in $5,000 credit card debt, $25,000 student loans, I have little passion for what my degree is in (web programming) and I can't stand living with my dad in this sprawling community. I want to be in a different state within 16 days or so. Does anyone know of any cool cities that have apartments where you rent by the week? I've google'd that in many different ways, nothing comes up. Suburban locale and endless winters are unacceptable. I am miserable, and I want out. Living with my annoying dad in this godforsaken community with no entertainment, no car is what the problem is.
As for googling the weekly apartments in other cities, I've changed the wording and everything. There's no relavent results, this could be the one thing which the internet has little or no information on. You know, those motel / hotel style apartments which you can rent by the day ,week, or month.

Most hotels that are going to be safe or decent are going to be by the month - and in NJ - on average, you're talking higher-than average rent (without discounts [which are unlikely, unless you know the property/hotel owner, or you're lucky] are more than likely going to run you about 1700+ a month).
What are you looking for? Do you want south NJ or north NJ (or central?)...the closer you are to either major city (NYC or Philly), you're going to definitely be paying a steeper price. The same falls for anything near any form of public transit. If you have a car, keep in mind parking, as well as having to insure your car and pay emissions fees, with the NJ price tag.
Are you looking for utilities included?
What do you want, exactly? You need to be more specific. Do you want to be close to stores, public transit, pets allowed, certain age-group, college-type city? etc?
Try craigslist, roommates.com, rent.com, apartments.com and the news paper of the area you want to move to.

Dude, it's tough out there. Living with dad a while longer might not be a bad option unless you have a sizeable bank account.
