You obviously haven't had breakfast at Brennans in New Orleans. That is the best breakfast in the world.

Tried Rio's on Route 22..it's pretty good. if you like that type of food....I've always believe it was taylor
ham, not pork roll...I guess it's just what you grow up hearing and being used too. Now don't go throwing things at the computer, but I never especially liked it? sorry...just never could develop a taste
for it.

I make mine at home, how do you guys like your egg on the sandwich, scrambled or a fried egg? I normally make a fried egg, taylor ham & cheese on a hard roll. I have to try ketchup.

After living in OK with us for a year, my son defected (LOL) and moved back to NJ. I drove out with him, and took a plane back.

The day after he got there, the first thing he did was have a NJ diner breakfast. Called to tell me about it. However, we're making the trip to NJ for Thanksgiving and DH and I plan to eat, eat, eat (bagels, kaiser rolls/butter, taylor ham, pizza). We don't go for the turkey, haha.

Old post but... any good breakfast places that serve real maple syrup? this is a starting point for me as if they are serving aunt jemima i won't even go in. we go sometimes to the daily treat in ridgewood but it is not the greatest.

I am inspired by a place called Matt's big breakfast in Phoenix. They are just good old wholesome food. FRESH is the key word here...fresh squeezed OJ, free range eggs, real maple syrup, organic milk for your coffee, homegrown rosemary in the potatoes. etc. i know their flour is good quality stuff from King arthur.

does anything come close?
