Nature takes over the burbs (woodpecker, tree, bedroom)

I don't mind the mockingbird, DH however could have "killed" it though..
( slight pun intended ) the bugger sang past 3am, had nearly 20 different songs.
Now, we have a brown headed nuthatch, whose calls sound like a child's squeaky toy. Honestly, I thought it was a neighbor's restless child.
This bird actually sounds like a squeaky, rubber duck toy...
I've never minded the woodpeckers, the rabbits, the gophers, but this little bird is a new one, and frankly, kind of eerie.
Have any other posters heard this bird's call ?

Never heard one!

Sounds preferable to a screech owl in a tree outside your bedroom window blasting you out of bed at 2am.

Interesting find though, thanks for the info on the bird's call.
