Excellent article. And unfortunately we can try and vote them out or "form a new political party" as someone else put it....but that won't ever work....the NJ political corrupt government machine is like a 500lb gorilla with 300lb gorilla sidekick bodyguards. The only option is to leave NJ and unfortunately eventually the US entirely before all your money goes to a couple people's welfare checks and somebody's health care.

Growing numbers at anti-tax 'tea parties' shows a fed up public - Mark DiIonno

They couldn't have been that big of a deal- they didn't even make the evening news. It's going to take alot more than a bunch of people standing around waving signs for a few hours and then going back to their picnics to effect change...........

Our country is already beyond bankrupt. The Fed has scheduled this week four (that's F O U R) new bond issues this week to borrow even more money from China and the Arabs. Bloomberg business radio commented this morning that the Fed has never before scheduled four bond offerings in one week. And now Obama is talking about the need for another stimulus package.

The state of New Jersey is in even worse shape because unlike the Feds, the state can't print money. Just new bond issues and raise taxes.

I just wonder if Christie will really do anything substantial if he's elected in November. An immediate 25% cut in the number of state employees and a freeze on pension credits would be a great start. And if the state employees go on strike, that would be even better; Christie can just let them stay out, replace them with private staffing agencies, and bank the money that's now going out the door due to the bloated state payroll.

I agree with everything you posted- but getting together for little "tea parties" and then retreating back into your holes until someone says "OK, let's go wave our posters again" isn't going to change any of that.
