Well if you make 3 figures you can afford an apt. in Yuppyville....seriously, if you commute to N.Y. and
are young and don't mind noise, crowded neighborhood and city living, then it's fine. It has become
pretty expensive to live there. Good restaurants along Washington St. and other streets though, and
their best Bakery "carlo"s is now on TLC network....Parking is the worst anywhere, doesn't pay to have
a car....Rent one on the weekends, you would be better off.....Best thing I can suggest is take a trip
there, look around, scout out a reatlor and see what they have to offer.....they have train service to
N.Y. N.J....the path trains take you to downtown N.Y. and up as far as 33rd St. in N.Y...there is a ferry
service too...Don't know if I would recommend it to people with kids...but singles, if you can afford it.
go for it.

Hoboken is nice. Lots of singles/married without kids like it there. Young population, stuff to do, close to the city. Not cheap.

Hi Ahmad. I think whether you will like Hoboken or not depends on a few variables, like your age, income and whether you like city living or more suburban environments. Also, where will you be working? Your commute and how you will get around counts lots. If you write back with a little more information about yourself (including a budget of what you would like to spend on rent, if you are looking to be in a roommate situation, alone or with your family) and where you will be working, maybe people will be able to give you more information. I will try to give you as much information as I can because I know how frustrating it is when trying to decide where to move. Feel free to send me a private email if you feel you have too many questions or details to post here.
Good luck with making a decision.
