Activities for 3 year old near Trenton
Hello!
Is there any fun and active place for kids near Trenton/Hamilton/Princeton open on Sundays, where one can drop a 3-4 years old boy for a couple of hours?
Some kind of toddler gym or swimming class or skating or any other sports or games?
Any online resources with listings of such places?
Thanks a lot,

Where you can drop him, like drop him off? Not sure on that. The Y in Hamilton has lots of classes, including tons of great swimming groups and lessons, but I don't know if they are dropoff at that age. Did you try wwptoday.com in the Mom-to-mom forum? You might be able to ask there and get some ideas.

I don't know of any places that have drop off options for a 3 year old. Even classes for children that age are usually parent & child or require that a parent must be present and usually only last 30-45 minutes. You might be better off talking to families in your neighborhood and finding a babysitter.

Let me know if you find a place like that. I would drive an hour to Trenton to use it. I am sure it would be packed. We have a gymnastics place around me that has a drop and shop during the week, but not on weekend.

You are looking for childcare on Sunday from what I gather, not activities necessarily. Maybe you could find a home daycare provider who would be willing to work on Sunday for a few hours or a babysitter in your home. Try contacting Monday Morning Moms for in-home providers.

Thanks to everyone for their responses.
I contacted the Little Gym in West Windsor. They actually have drop off gymnastics class for 3 year olds. It is one hour session on Saturday 11 AM, which is pretty close to our needs because it is on weekend, but we prefer Sunday.
I checked some other places and though I could find lots Monday-Saturday classes (with or without parents), no place has classes on Sundays. What is wrong with Sundays?
Somebody suggested that if I could find such Sunday activity place, it would be packed. That means that the demand exists. Why no supply?
Thanks.

Perhaps people actually want a day off from work! Sheesh.
