East Brunswick-Kingswood-Best Rush hour route??
Relocating from North Jersey to Kingswood Station in EB in a month or so.
Office in Somerset.
Anyone have any back road routes to get me to JFK blvd area in Somerset while avoiding rush hour traffic on Rte 18?
AM shouldn't be too bad as I am in by 8am, but going home at 4:30 seems like it may be a killer
Any other Kingswood Station residents here?
Thnx.

Nice to see you again MBOY. I lived here for years and can tell you that there are many different ways to go, just depends on what you want to take. Leaving from Somerset I would say to probably take Route 1 South to get to Ryders Lane and take Ryders to Cranbury or Fern Road. That way you will avoid 90% of the Route 18 traffic.
So did you find a rental unit? What street will you be on? Looks like we might be neighbors.

Thanks. That sounds like a reasonable route.
I am renting for 2 years, then may look to buy when I can regroup some $$ after my divorce
I will be on Commons sometime in August
Familiar with the gyms in the area?
I know they have a WOW (not thrilled with their plans) and a Retro.
Interested in mainly free wiehgts (former bodybuilder looking to get backinto it) with a nice mix of single women

MBOY, you are too much! Those two gyms are the most popular in East Brunswick by far because of their rate plans but of course the rate plans reflect the non-heavyweight availability. You can also try:
NYSC
300 State Highway 18 North (Midstate Mall)
Fitness Together
6 Edgeboro Road (Edgeboro Plaza)
Good luck!!

No problem, glad I could help. I live in Country Woods which is the "newer" part of the development. Personally I think they should all be called the same name but what do I know. I am near the Old Stage Road section of the development.

Traffic on Helmatta going to Cranbury Road
We are looking for houses in Country Woods and Kingswood Sta. Communities. Some of the houses back to Helmetta Blvd. and Old Stage Road. Are these busy streets during Rush Hours and Weekend ?
Thanks.
