Details on NYC Bus Commute from Allendale, NJ (Franklin: buses, parking)

We are considering re-locating to Allendale, NJ, but need to commute daily into Manhattan. It appears the bus is a shorter commute than the train. From the limited information I have seen, it appears the "main" bus stop is at the intersection of Allendale Ave. and Rt 17. Is there parking at or near that location? Also, is there also a bus running through the middle of town (Franklin Tpk maybe?), and if so, how frequent are those buses and where do those buses stop?

Um, thanks for the link to the Short Line website (which I had already seen), but I did not see any information regarding parking availability for the Rt 17 and Allendale Ave. bus stop. Additionally, the website indicates VERY limited service on Franklin Tpk (more in the middle of town), and I was hoping someone with actual knowledge could confirm or correct that information.
