It's amazing to me how many people will talk about how bad NJ is but if you look at their actions, specifically the fact that they CHOOSE, daily, to keep living here, you can see right through their whining. If I hated it in NJ, if I thought it was "absurd" in any way, I'd leave. It's silly to continue living in a place you hate.

Martin Brodeur loves NJ and hates the Flyers!
Martin Brodeur may love NJ but he also cheated on his wife with his wifes SISTER........while he may be a good goaltender his character is sorely lacking and a man without character is really no man at all.
As far as leaving NJ many of us find ourselves at least temporarly "stuck" here......I am 62 with a lucrative business, however, in the next year or so that will be sold and I will be on my way to Florida but until then I still believe we are all afforded the right of free speech......at least until NJ finds a way to tax that too !!!

The whole coast on both sides is beautiful. Swamps? I don't think so!
Now where would one go to take beautiful photos in Jersey?
Newark? Paterson? Trenton? The Hudson River? The Passaic River? Where is the stunning photography to be had there?
Maybe Manhattan, that is it!
Oh! The Jersey Shore? Yuck!
I love Florida!
Jersey, again, is a great place to visit.
I do miss the diners, deli's and the Italian restaurants and also the Stage Deli in Manhattan!
FL has more crime than NJ.
FL has literally NO land diversity
FL has some of the nastiest bugs in the country
FL is extremely hot and adds extreme humidity to the equation.

Florida is the state of lies. they advertise their cities as brilliant getaways but some of the cities they call paradise have worst crime than Paterson, Trenton, and Jersey City; but they patch that up.

It's funny you bring up Paterson as a place where one can't do photography because...

And Newark...

And Trenton...

And the Hudson River...

And the Passaic River...

And YUCK, the jersey shore!

Just because you never found it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

"Stuck"??? That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

How are you "stuck"?? Someone who owns a "lucrative business" would be able to do what he wants, when he wants. Someone like that would be able to say, "I hate it here, I want to move," and would move. I think maybe your business isn't all that lucrative. Or, it IS that lucrative, because it's in NJ, and you want to take advantage of living in NJ to the last possible moment before you leave so you make up some song & dance about being "stuck". Cry me a river...

How does it feel to know that the cheating Martin Brodeur has something your crappy, thuggish Flyers have (a few Stanely Cups)??? The Flyers are so bad that they're not even as good as a guy who you say is "no man at all". Well, at least you understand the Flyers are basically a bunch of figure skaters with sticks.

So please feel free to tell us how someone is "stuck" in NJ. Does Corzine have you tied up in your own basement, with armed guards posted around your home? lol, what stupid thing to say, that you're "stuck". That's WEAK, boy.

OMG...I have read through this entire thread and all I can say is..."Sigh!"

I am really gettin' peeved with the Jersey bashing....jeez, ppl...do you have NOTHING else to do?

Love the pics! I'm with UKOK...they are pretty gross...I think I shall move to Nebraska....I bet there's really cheap auto insurance there...

As far as Fla is concerned...I have been there a few times because I like Disney. I get this strange sensation when I am down there that it is like...hmmmm, "The 2nd chance state!"...just sayin'

Ok...I said my peace, Chrissy! LOL

First....my name isn't "boy".
Second.......I really don't owe you an explanation but will attempt one anyway. I have been self employed for 30 years and I am the sole employee. While I make out very well financially I can't do what I want when I want because if I did there would be no one to run the business. I have several people that I am currently negotiating with that are interested in purchasing my business but that doesn't happen overnight, especially due to the specific licensing involved but the continuity of the business must be maintianed to retain its value. Clearly your a follower and not a leader.....you've always stood in line for a paycheck from the boss every week and never operated your own business otherwise you wouldn't find the concept of being temporarly "stuck" in a situation so stupid or weak. Hope that clarifies my situation so your not quite as mystified.........regarding Mr. Brodure its sad that as an adult you find his goals against average more important than his weak character and morals. By the way.....are you aware that the Flyers organization has raised more money for medical research through their "carnival" than any other sports organization over the years.......not bad for a bunch of figure skaters with sticks ???
