Honestly, if a black family moves into a neighborhood that is mostly white, they will fit in perfectly fine if they are outgoing and willing to make new friends with their new neighbors.

You'd be surprised how LITTLE people care about what color you are if you are friendly and have similar values/education levels as they do. Especially in a northeastern state such as NJ.

If someone emigrates from South Africa, becomes a naturalized citizen of the United States, and they are white, they may be listed as "African American" even on census forms.
