Default Best Real Estate Agency for Clifton/Nutley?

I'm looking to move into a townhome development in Clifton or Nutley. What agent would you recommend for having the best listings?

My price range is up to $360K. Currently I'm searching on remax-nj

Thanks!!!

Not sure I understand the question.

If you're just searching listings, use multiple listing services like gsmls.com or websites that show listings from multiple sources like trulia.com and zillow.com.

Don't ask the listing agent to help you, they work for the sller and it's their job to sell the place for as much as possible.

If you want an agent to help you find a place, have someone represent you as a buyers agent.

I was searching listings on the Remax real estate site. How do I find a buyers agent? I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but this is all new to me LOL

I've searched on njmls. Since those pool from all agents how do I select the agecny to show me different homes?

Talk to people who've purchased in Nutley and look for referrals, or search zillow/trulia.

You need to either search the listings yourself, or have a buyers agent do it for you and send you the listings. What the buyers agent will usually do is subscribe you to the version of njmls that they have available (which shows the addresses)

If you don't have a buyers agent, then search the listings, and when you find a listing that you like, call the listing agent and ask them if you can see the place.

Don't ask the listing agent for any help finding places. If they are acting in their sellers best interests (which they are supposed to do), they will try to unload whichever dump of a listing is the hardest to sell.

I'm in the same boat - trying to find a good agent to take me around and look at listings in Nutley. Has anyone worked with an awesome buyers agent that they can recommend?

I've worked with one other Agent, but felt like I was always repeating myself because she never seemed to remember what I was looking for. I need someone who can understand what it is that we're looking for and not only show us places in Nutley, but maybe some other towns that might help fit our needs.
