Default Area info required-Hackensack NJ

Hi,

Me and my husband are moving to Hackensack, NJ and found some apts/condo on clinton pl,clarendon pl and euclid ave, and anderson st b/w clarendon and vanderbeck pl. Although I saw few posts regarding the same concern I had, I am just wondering if its a good , safe place for a family, esp to walk from Anderson st train station to any of those streets at nights. we liked some of the apts in that area and would be renting one of them soon. Also ,Please let me know if it is safe to take buses from there to NY, I see buses that go via prospect avenue. IS it really safe to walk from the Bus stop near prospect. When I went there, i hardly saw people walking..Also is there a park around thats safe? Please let me know your opinions about the area and more. Is this considered fairmount section, what do they mean by that???I am totally new to this place, sorry had a lot of Qs.Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Appreciate your response!!!

The area is fine. I live in a condo on anderson st and commute via the train at anderson st. The only time you will really see anyone walking is when the train stops as a lot of people park and ride. The area is safe and no one will bother you.

There a couple of parks, there's one on Grand Ave and a nice one at the end of Summit Ave pass Spring Valley.

Fairmount section of Hackensack is a safe area. The more west of Main you go, the nicer it gets.
