Default Please help - parking in Dumont

We're thinking of purchasing a home in Dumont but it is farther from the bus lines - not within walking distance. I know there is a municipal parking lot but can we park our car around residential areas during the daytime and take the bus to Manhattan?

Does anyone know if that is prohibited?
I am thinking it should be ok.

I know we cannot park overnight and that's a rule everywhere.

PLEASE HELP. We're looking at the White Beeches area of Dumont. The home is lovely but we're hesitant because of how difficult it would be to get to work in the city.

THANK YOU in ADVANCE!
