I heard that there's a bad accident on rt 287 - truck crossed over into the other side and traffic is back up on both sides. Those travelling on 287 tonight may want to plan an alternate route.

Near the rt. 10 exit... I don't envy you commuters tonight!

I'm surprised congestion/accidents would be a problem on I-287.
It's a partial beltway...but not really because it's span is very far away from the core of the NY-Newark metro area.

It is also a very big road...you'd think being over 20 miles from the city with many lanes and other highway options would equate to not bad traffic.
